As part of their dynamic team, you'll be empowered to make meaningful contributions while benefiting from a culture that emphasizes work-life balance, career advancement, and long-term success.Job DescriptionDevelop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems (QMS) in alignment with AS9100 standards, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry requirementsLead and manage internal and external audits (including AS9100 and customer audits), ensuring the company meets all regulatory and certification standards.Oversee the identification and resolution of non-conformances, utilizing root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes to prevent recurrence.Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are in place to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance the overall quality of machining operations, particularly in the context of aerospace production standards.Coordinate with engineering and production teams to review and approve production processes, ensuring that all specifications, tolerances, and quality standards are adhered to.Maintain comprehensive records and reports, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), certificates of conformance (COCs), and first article inspection reports (FAIRs), in compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.Drive supplier quality management, including evaluating and auditing suppliers, ensuring that sourced components meet required aerospace standards.Lead the quality team in the development and execution of training programs to ensure personnel are knowledgeable about industry-specific quality standards, such as AS9100, FAA regulations, and other aerospace certifications.Stay up to date with the latest aerospace industry trends, regulatory changes, and AS9100 revisions, ensuring the company's practices remain compliant and competitive.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
