The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing LIHTC, NYCHA, and other affordable housing programs, along with a strong background in residential property operations and tenant relations.Job DescriptionAs Property Manager, you will be resonsible for the following:Oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of market rate and affordable housing properties.Ensure compliance with all affordable housing regulations, including LIHTC, NYCHA, HPD, HDC, and Section 8 programs.Supervise on-site staff and third-party vendors to ensure property maintenance, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.Manage leasing, rent collection, unit inspections, work orders, and tenant communications.Maintain accurate records for tenant files, income certifications, recertifications, and compliance reporting.Prepare and manage operating budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Respond promptly to tenant concerns and ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.Coordinate with ownership and internal teams on capital improvement planning and execution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
