Job Description

Healthcare Construction Superintendent - Manhattan, NY



  • Oversee daily field operations for healthcare interior projects thtoughout New York City and Brooklyn, managing all subcontractor activity and jobsite coordination.


  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and building and construction codes specific to medical and patient-occupied spaces.


  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to drive quality, maintain timelines, and minimize disruptions in active healthcare facilities.


  • Conduct daily jobsite meetings, manage logistics and phasing plans, and lead safety protocols including ICRA implementation.


  • Produce and maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and daily logs.

The Successful Applicant



  • 8+ years of experience as a Healthcare Construction Superintendent - Manhattan, NY on interior healthcare projects, ideally within Brooklyn or the surrounding boroughs.


  • Demonstrated success managing healthcare-specific renovations in active environments.


  • Proficiency with construction scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) and field technologies (Procore, Bluebeam).


  • Strong understanding of healthcare codes, infection control standards, and complex phasing logistics.


  • OSHA 30 required; other healthcare construction certifications preferred, SST 62 would also be ideal.


  • Ability to lead and communicate effectively with owners, trade partners, and internal teams.
