We're seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager (or PM open to stepping in as an APM) to support delivery of a $240M Long Island Rail Road infrastructure upgrade. This individual will immediately support the Project Manager and be positioned for promotion to PM within a few months.

Job Description



  • Assist PM in managing schedules, budgets, and submittals for a major transit project


  • Coordinate subcontractors and vendors in station upgrades, ADA compliance, and elevator/escalator installations


  • Maintain compliance with public agency protocols and reporting


  • Support change orders, RFIs, and site documentation


  • Work on-site in Babylon, LI with potential for rotation to new MTA projects upon promotion

The Successful Applicant



  • Has ~7 years of experience on MTA, LIRR, or Amtrak station/ADA/elevator/escalator projects


  • Comes from a GC background (not subcontractor), ideally having worked on large public jobs ($25M+)


  • Holds a four-year degree (Construction Management or Engineering preferred)


  • Is organized, field-savvy, and ready to grow into a PM role quickly


  • Lives in or near Long Island, Queens, or Brooklyn
