Job Description

In this role you will reprt directly into the North American President and be responsible for:

  • Leading manufacturing engineering and operations across the Americas, delivering on revenue and profit goals through cost reduction, quality improvements, lean initiatives, acquisition integration, and strategic outsourcing.
  • Developing operational strategies by analyzing trends, setting key performance indicators, and optimizing production and customer service models in alignment with the Company's financial objectives.
  • Setting and managing goals across engineering and operations, holding both leadership and team members accountable for results.
  • Promoting a safety-first culture while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and on-time delivery across multiple facilities.
  • Championing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies to streamline processes, control inventory, and uphold high quality standards.
  • Overseeing capital projects, operational budgets, and tactical plans to minimize cost variances and achieve business targets.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of manufacturing engineering professionals, establishing and maintaining best practices, production protocols, and inspection methods.
  • Ensuring smooth integration of new products into production by applying design-for-manufacturability principles and clear work instructions.
  • Supporting talent development by coaching, closing skill gaps, and fostering a high-engagement, growth-oriented work environment.
  • Overseeing safety programs, facilities improvements, and 5S implementation, while managing procurement, kanban systems, logistics, and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitoring operational performance and implementing corrective actions to drive improvements and meet organizational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related business field.
  • Over 15 years of experience in manufacturing and operations, including 10+ years in progressively senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading transformation, scaling operations, and driving continuous improvement across multi-site manufacturing environments.
  • Strong financial skills, including oversight of budgets, capital expenditures, and financial performance metrics.
  • Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma, process optimization, and standardized work practices.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration to support strategic and operational goals.
  • Track record of effective leadership and change management, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and organizational culture.
