Job Description

  • Lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes.
  • Own and continuously evolve the consolidated financial model to support strategic decisions and scenario analysis.
  • Partner with the CFO on capital structure, funding strategy, and M&A analysis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Company and consistently update and improve all financial and investor communication - including our Company teaser, Company overview presentation and investor materials
  • Develop and deliver high-quality management and board reporting, including dashboards, KPI tracking, and financial insights.
  • Serve as a key finance partner to senior business leaders, helping drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing FP&A and corporate finance team.
  • Help develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with company objectives and market positioning.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and rating agencies; manage quarterly earnings calls and investor meetings.
  • Craft compelling external communications, including earnings releases, investor presentations, and Q&A preparation.
  • Participate in meetings and telephone calls with the Executive team, Finance Team and investors to discuss the Company's financial performance and strategy
  • Play a key role in planning, orchestrating, and preparing presentation materials for conferences and other external audiences
  • Assist in the fundraising process, including creating and handling investor materials and responses to due diligence requests; track details of communication with existing and prospective investors
  • Evaluate M&A and investment opportunities (both inbound and externally sourced) across our product vertical and beyond, including evaluation, financing and structuring
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis for Board or senior management, including financial models as needed
  • Monitor industry developments, market trends and valuation and activity of publicly traded and private comparable companies

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrated ability in a corporate finance, private equity or investment banking role (late-stage startup or high-growth public company experience a plus)
  • BA / BS degree; major in finance, economics, accounting or mathematics preferred
  • Strong financial modeling skills
  • Ability to convey strategic and financial messages in written materials, presentations, financial models and data analysis
  • Excellent finance or investment project management skills with the ability to structure and execute deliverables with minimal oversight
  • You have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You are highly adaptable, and able to thrive in ambiguous or uncertain environments.
  • Passionate about blending technology and finance
  • Knowledge of SQL and Tableau is a plus
  • While this is a leadership role, the ideal candidate is comfortable serving as a leader AND overall IC athlete, willing to execute any level of tasks required to get a project done
