Job Description

Design and engineer custom transformers, inductors, and magnetic components for high-reliability power systems.
Conduct detailed electrical, magnetic, and thermal performance analyses to refine and validate designs.
Partner with mechanical teams to ensure robust packaging and environmental protection for demanding applications.
Lead prototyping, bench testing, and system-level validation aligned with military standards (e.g., MIL-STD).
Work closely with internal engineering and quality teams as well as customer stakeholders to define technical specs and product goals.
Provide design support through the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality and performance requirements.

The Successful Applicant

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience designing transformers, inductors, or magnetics-preferably for defense, aerospace, or heavy-duty industrial systems.
Familiarity with MIL-STD compliance and ruggedized component design.
Proficiency in electrical simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Maxwell, MATLAB, PSpice).
Strong foundation in power electronics and electromagnetic theory.
Proven ability to lead prototype development, validation, and troubleshooting.
Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen (due to export-controlled project requirements).
