As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, you will oversee large-scale commercial projects from predevelopment through to contract execution. This includes design coordination, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and client engagement. You'll work alongside top-tier operations staff and executive leadership, with the ability to influence both strategy and outcomes.

Job Description



  • Lead all aspects of preconstruction for projects ranging from $25M to $50M+


  • Oversee budgeting, estimating, and cost management from concept through GMP


  • Collaborate with design teams, owners, and internal departments to align scope, schedule, and cost


  • Guide the permitting process and manage risk throughout preconstruction


  • Coordinate site logistics and preliminary schedules with field teams


  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact during preconstruction


  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development


  • Conduct internal team meetings, budget reviews, and value engineering exercises

The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)


  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including at least 5+ years leading preconstruction efforts


  • Proven track record with large, ground-up projects across diverse sectors


  • Strong financial, scheduling, and leadership skills


  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
