The Compensation Manager at the national level, will be responsible for implementing and managing reward processes within the United States. You will be the primary contact within the local US organization, addressing knowledge gaps, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and adapting global Total Rewards strategies to fit the national context. Working with the Global Total Rewards Manager to effectively roll out changes and support our local HR.

Job Description

  • Implement and manage reward processes within the United States (approximately 7,500 employees)
  • Ensure local processes align with global standards and execute local implementation plans
  • Capture and address day-to-day requests related to Total Rewards (TR) analysis, job evaluation, international transfer analysis, and STI calculation/calibration from the Center of Excellence (COE)
  • Ensure tax compliance within the Share Matching Plan (SMP)
  • Administer the bonus calculation process and plan assignments for all employees within the geography
  • Act as the primary contact within the local organization for TR-related issues
  • Provide first-level support to local stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary
  • Provide training and guidance to local HR teams on TR processes and policies
  • Coordinate with the Global TR Partner to effectively roll out changes in the country/countries
  • Support local HR in understanding and adapting to new initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
  • Analyze deviations from the global blueprint and ensure necessary local adaptations

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in analytical roles in Compensation and Benefits, Finance or other related areas in a global complex organization
  • 3+ years work experience in a Compensation and Benefits role required, preferably at the managerial level
  • Solid financial background including understanding of legal, tax and employment legislation topics
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to deal with, synthesize and simplify large amount of data
  • Proven experience leading cross-collaborative projects at a national level at a minimum
  • Excellent presentation skills and communicates effectively with C-suite and senior management
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (in particular Excel)
