Current projects include multiple high-end interior fit-outs in North New Jersey, including spaces for well-known corporate clients.Job DescriptionProject Ownership: Act as both Project Manager and Superintendent on-site, taking full day-to-day control of the construction process.Team Leadership: Manage all trades and subcontractors throughout interior fit-out projects valued up to $20M.Schedule Management: Collaborate with a Senior PM and report project progress and performance regularly.Documentation: During pre-construction: distribute drawings to a pre-selected sub list, collect and level bids, and write scopes and contracts.Quality Control: Oversee the project through to completion, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget are consistently met.Safety Compliance: Maintain a consistent on-site presence and ensure safety, coordination, and productivity.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful Applicant5-10 years of construction experience, ideally with a focus on interior commercial projects.Has managed full scopes of smaller-scale projects rather than large mega-projects.Comes from a construction management background and is comfortable running point in the field.Highly organized, independent, and comfortable interacting with trades, clients, and senior management.A related degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, etc.) is a plus, but not a requirement.More important than credentials is someone who is hands-on, dependable, and gets the job done.
