From concept through design development, this role oversees estimating, value engineering, bid strategy, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and passionate about building better outcomes-before construction even begins.Key Responsibilities:Lead all preconstruction efforts for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely deliveryCollaborate directly with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to align scope, schedule, and budgetPrepare and present conceptual budgets and detailed estimates at progressive design milestonesOversee bid solicitations, subcontractor qualification, scope reviews, and final buyout recommendationsPropose value engineering and constructability enhancements to maximize budget efficiency and project successMentor and support junior staff, promoting team development and preconstruction best practicesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
