As a Process Engineer, you'd play a key role in scaling their membrane manufacturing and supporting the deployment of their breakthrough filtration systems across industries. It's a great opportunity to join a mission-driven team tackling global water challenges.Job DescriptionAs a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing our polymer chemistry, coating, and fabrication operations to drive production uptime, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Key responsibilities include:Optimize polymer chemistry lines and related processes to improve uptime, efficiency, productivity, and cost control.Design and execute experiments to refine process parameters and boost performance.Provide safety-focused process design and support to R&D teams, including scientists, engineers, and technicians.Partner with cross-functional teams to align membrane product development with new product introduction (NPI) initiatives.Support rapid prototyping efforts in close coordination with the product development team.Implement and evaluate process improvements, assessing impacts on quality, throughput, and cost.Diagnose and resolve process deviations and operational issues.Create and maintain thorough process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and detailed process descriptions.Lead scale-up initiatives with external manufacturing partners, including equipment installation, commissioning, and process validation.Train and mentor operators and technicians in process operation and maintenance best practices.Serve as the primary liaison with equipment vendors regarding troubleshooting, upgrades, and new equipment selection.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
