We are seeking an HR Coordinator with a strong understanding of Human Resources functions and procedures. The successful candidate will be proficient in recruiting & benefits administration, assisting with payroll processing, and coordinating HR policies and procedures. MUST BE FULLY ONSITE IN BROOKLYN.

Job Description

  • Lead administration for recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding efforts.
  • Aid in benefits administration - including COBRA, reconciliations, and record updating.
  • Assist with payroll processing to ensure all employees are compensated accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate HR policies, procedures, and relevant documentation.
  • Support the HR department's initiatives and strategies.
  • Facilitate employee engagement activities and internal communications.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR-related issues.
  • Support training and development programs for employees.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Coordinator should have:

  • Ability to work fully onsite in Brooklyn (no relocation).
  • A strong understanding of HR functions and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and digital platforms - previous experience in ADP preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
