The culture values hands-on problem solving, collaboration, and continuous learning, making it a great fit for those passionate about optics and laser technology.Job DescriptionThe Field Service Engineer 9Photonics) will be responsible for:Perform field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laser systems at customer sites.Install and align new continuous-wave and ultrafast laser systems.Conduct in-house service, diagnostics, and repairs of laser equipment.Provide technical support and application guidance to customers and internal teams.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex technical issues.Travel regularly to customer locations across North America and occasionally to Europe for training.Interpret and work with optical, electrical, and mechanical system designs.Use standard lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.Maintain clear communication with customers to ensure service satisfaction.Remain calm and professional in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.Support continuous improvement in service procedures and documentation.Lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds as part of system handling and setup.
