Job Description

Manage the preparation and submission of detailed project estimates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost assessments.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to gather necessary information and clarify project details.
Deliver accurate bid proposals within established timelines to support the bidding process.
Drive cost-saving strategies by identifying potential efficiencies and value engineering opportunities.
Operate estimation software and tools to streamline the estimating process and maintain organized records.
Review and validate estimates from junior estimators, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the estimating process to ensure alignment and transparency.

The Successful Applicant

Experience:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably with a focus on commercial or institutional projects.
- Familiarity with project management processes and construction methodologies.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate project specifications and develop accurate cost assessments.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools to streamline the estimating process.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
