Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects including new builds, tenant improvements, and interior renovations.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients during the preconstruction phase.
  • Maintain historical cost data and contribute to value engineering efforts.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials.
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
