If interested, please read on and apply to the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist opening near Claremont, NH.Job DescriptionThe Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:Assist in the implementation and maintenance of EHS policies and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations.Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of work areas, tools, and equipment.Help coordinate and deliver safety training and toolbox talks.Maintain accurate EHS documentation, including safety data sheets (SDS), inspection logs, and training records.Participate in environmental monitoring activities such as waste tracking, air or water sampling, and chemical storage compliance.Assist with the development and rollout of EHS communications, safety alerts, and awareness campaigns.Support emergency response drills and help maintain emergency equipment and supplies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a positive safety culture on the shop floor.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
