Engineering Manager - Industrial Manufacturing - Leominster, MA

Some of the responsibilities of the Engineering Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the company's products, services, and quality processes.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and efficiency.
• Offer technical support to the sales team, including design-for-manufacturability (DFM) recommendations, preliminary tooling and part cost estimates, and material selection guidance.
• Prepare and issue formal customer quotations for tooling, part pricing, and non-recurring engineering (NRE) charges.
• Serve as the lead contact for both internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through design, validation, and production launch.
• Oversee and approve the design, review, and construction of injection mold tooling and equipment, ensuring accuracy, durability, and ease of maintenance.
• Lead efforts to design molds with a focus on longevity, serviceability, and consistent performance.
• Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture that values teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate expert-level knowledge in plastic injection molding, including part design, material selection, and tooling construction techniques.
• Utilize CAD tools such as SolidWorks and mold simulation software to support design decisions.
