If interested, please read on and apply to the Electrical Engineer - Manufacturing job based near Syracuse, NY.Job DescriptionThe Electrical Engineer - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:Product Design & Development: Design, test, and validate analog and digital circuits for electronic products, including schematic capture and PCB layout.Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support to production teams during PCB assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.Component Selection & BOM Management: Select appropriate electronic components based on performance, cost, and availability. Maintain accurate bills of materials and design documentation.Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans for design verification, reliability, and functional testing. Interpret test data and recommend design or process changes as needed.Failure Analysis & Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis of failed units and drive corrective actions. Work closely with quality and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving design for manufacturability (DFM), testability (DFT), and cost-efficiency.Compliance & Standards: Ensure products meet relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., IPC, UL, CE, RoHS, ISO 9001).
