Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, from initial planning through to final execution.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the company's strategic goals.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives that focus on cost reduction, product quality improvement, and overall productivity gains.
  • Apply data-driven techniques to identify areas for optimization and implement effective solutions.
  • Establish, uphold, and enforce engineering standards and specifications to ensure consistent and reliable operations.
  • Create and document best practices for engineering processes and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Oversee the execution of preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and general facility upkeep.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive maintenance management system to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, safety, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination across teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of engineering and maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated success in managing CAPEX projects and implementing process improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance best practices and safety regulations.
  • Strong understanding of safety compliance standards and regulations.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in cGMP environments is highly desirable.
