Job Description

We are seeking a Development Manager to lead and support the evaluation and execution of new industrial development projects and select institutional redevelopment opportunities in the Houston area. This individual will play a key role in driving projects from inception through completion, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the real estate development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the full development process, including site selection, entitlements, design, permitting, construction, and leasing.


  • Evaluate prospective development opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and support investment analysis.


  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, architects, and public stakeholders.


  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within scope.


  • Lead due diligence efforts and risk management throughout the development process.


  • Monitor market trends and maintain strong relationships with brokers, municipalities, and other stakeholders.


  • Travel regularly to project sites to assess progress, maintain quality standards, and address issues proactively.

The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.


  • 5+ years of experience in real estate development, preferably in industrial or institutional projects.


  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.


  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.


  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.


  • Experience navigating zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes in the Houston market is preferred.
