Job Description

The Associate will play a vital role in supporting both portfolio management and corporate accounting functions. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to fund-level strategy, asset performance tracking, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance.



  • Track and maintain performance data at the portfolio and asset levels


  • Assist in developing annual budgets for the portfolio; analyze asset-level revenue, expenses, and debt terms


  • Conduct variance analyses to identify risks, trends, and performance gaps


  • Manage loan documentation, covenant compliance, and debt service monitoring


  • Support refinancing and property disposition efforts; prepare summaries for the investment committee


  • Collaborate with investor relations to monitor KPIs and respond to investor inquiries


  • Track critical dates and milestones across portfolio assets


  • Review and ensure accuracy of fund-level and operating partner waterfall calculations

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited university
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in real estate finance or investments
  • Strong foundation in financial analysis and real estate fundamentals
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a low-ego, high-accountability mindset
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX
