About Our Client

Our client is a commercial general contractor with a diverse project pipeline throughout NYC and the surrounding areas.

Job Description



  • Assist in the day-to-day management of multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through to closeout.


  • Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project milestones are met.


  • Help monitor the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.


  • Assist in the preparation and tracking of project documentation, including submittals, RFI's, change orders, and contracts.


  • Support site supervision to maintain safety standards, monitor progress, and resolve issues promptly.


  • Maintain detailed records of project activities, schedules, and costs to track the progress of construction.


  • Participate in client meetings, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and providing updates on project status.


  • Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth project operations and compliance with all regulations.


  • Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure the scope of work is being executed as intended.


  • Assist in managing and tracking project budgets, including invoicing and payment requests.


  • Help resolve day-to-day issues and assist with identifying potential risks and solutions.

The Successful Applicant



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.


  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction or project coordination, ideally with a general contractor.


  • Basic understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.


  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and construction project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.


  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing project needs in a fast-paced environment.


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
